I had a friend request that I do a post on popular clothing items for 2021. I was a bit perplexed myself as we haven’t been able to go anywhere this last year and what’s new in fashion was not high on my radar. I scaled back my shopping tremendously. All of my clothes sat in my closet patiently waiting to be worn again. One item that I think we can all get on board with while we still shelter in place is a “shacket.” A slightly thicker ‘shirt’ but not quite a ‘jacket.’ It can be worn year round as it’s easy to layer. Every store has them (might be in category: Overshirt) and it works for ALL ages. You can wear it with jeans and a t-shirt or leggings and a turtleneck. Or get super comfy and throw it on over sweats for a Netflix re-binge of Schitt’s Creek.
